Business Text Messaging

Communicate professionally via text using your dedicated Wave Line business numbers.

Viewing Conversations

Navigate to the Messages button in the web or mobile app. By default, this page lists all conversations you are a part of. At the top, you'll find filters, with "All" selected by default. From this page, you can create or view conversations. You can also filter conversations by Internal messages or by a specific Inbox.

Deleting Conversations

You can delete conversations by swiping, similar to how you would in your native messaging app. However, we retain the message history in case the deletion was accidental, ensuring no important information is lost.

Sending a Message

You can send a message in two ways:

  1. From the Contact button in the bottom-right corner of the Messages page.
  2. From a completed call log in the Call History tab.

When you type a contact's name or number, any previous conversation with that contact will appear, helping you avoid duplicate outreach. From here, you can send text, images, or files.

If you're part of a shared inbox, all team members with access to that inbox can view and respond to the conversation. This ensures seamless collaboration—if you're unavailable, another team member can take over. From the customer's perspective, all messages will appear to come from the same business number.

For Internal Messages, only the participants you select will see the messages, regardless of inbox association. This allows you to confidently communicate with other employees without others viewing your chat.
