Troubleshooting Missing Notifications
If you're not receiving alerts for incoming Wave Line calls or messages, follow these steps:
- Check Do Not Disturb / Focus Modes: Ensure your iPhone's Do Not Disturb or other Focus modes are not silencing notifications. Check your Focus mode settings in the iOS Control Center or Settings app.
- iOS Notification Settings: Verify that notifications are fully enabled for Wave Line:
- Go to iOS Settings > Notifications.
- Scroll down and tap on Wave Line.
- Ensure "Allow Notifications" is toggled ON.
- Check that "Lock Screen", "Notification Center", and "Banners" are enabled under Alerts.
- Ensure "Sounds" and "Badges" are also enabled if desired.
- In-App Notification Settings: Check if Wave Line has its own specific notification settings within the app itself (if applicable). (Note: Confirm if such settings exist).
- Background App Refresh: Wave Line may need Background App Refresh enabled to receive notifications reliably, especially for messages.
- Go to iOS Settings > General > Background App Refresh.
- Ensure it's set to "Wi-Fi" or "Wi-Fi & Cellular Data".
- Scroll down the list and ensure the toggle for Wave Line is ON.
- Restart Device: A simple restart of your iPhone or iPad can often resolve notification glitches.
- Update App: Make sure you have the latest version of the Wave Line app installed from the App Store.
- Check Inbox Assignments: Ensure your user account is correctly assigned to the inboxes you expect to receive notifications for (Settings > Inboxes > [Select Inbox] > Manage Users).
