Troubleshooting Missing Notifications

If you're not receiving alerts for incoming Wave Line calls or messages, follow these steps:

  1. Check Do Not Disturb / Focus Modes: Ensure your iPhone's Do Not Disturb or other Focus modes are not silencing notifications. Check your Focus mode settings in the iOS Control Center or Settings app.
  2. iOS Notification Settings: Verify that notifications are fully enabled for Wave Line:
    • Go to iOS Settings > Notifications.
    • Scroll down and tap on Wave Line.
    • Ensure "Allow Notifications" is toggled ON.
    • Check that "Lock Screen", "Notification Center", and "Banners" are enabled under Alerts.
    • Ensure "Sounds" and "Badges" are also enabled if desired.
    1. In-App Notification Settings: Check if Wave Line has its own specific notification settings within the app itself (if applicable). (Note: Confirm if such settings exist).
  3. Background App Refresh: Wave Line may need Background App Refresh enabled to receive notifications reliably, especially for messages.
    • Go to iOS Settings > General > Background App Refresh.
    • Ensure it's set to "Wi-Fi" or "Wi-Fi & Cellular Data".
    • Scroll down the list and ensure the toggle for Wave Line is ON.
  4. Restart Device: A simple restart of your iPhone or iPad can often resolve notification glitches.
  5. Update App: Make sure you have the latest version of the Wave Line app installed from the App Store.
  6. Check Inbox Assignments: Ensure your user account is correctly assigned to the inboxes you expect to receive notifications for (Settings > Inboxes > [Select Inbox] > Manage Users).

If notifications are still not working correctly, please contact Wave Line support (it@pnwsoftwaresolutions.com or (425) 772-8708).
