Answering Calls

Handle incoming calls to your business lines seamlessly within the Wave Line app.

How it Works:

  1. Incoming Call Notification: When someone calls one of your Wave Line business numbers assigned to you, you'll receive a notification on your iPhone, similar to a regular call. You can also forward to voicemail at this stage if you are busy.

  2. Caller ID: The notification will clearly indicate which business number/inbox is receiving the call, so you know how to answer appropriately.

  3. Answering: If your phone is off, simply swipe to answer the call as you normally would on your iPhone. Alternatively, you can answer the call from the web by pressing the Accept button. On both web and mobile, you also have the option to send the call to voicemail if needed.

  4. During the Call: Handle the conversation professionally. Call quality depends on your WiFi or cellular data connection.

  5. After the Call: The call will be logged in the corresponding Wave Line inbox. You can optionally add notes to the call record for future reference or team visibility.

Missed calls will be handled according to your Inbox Configuration settings (e.g., forwarded to voicemail, routed to other team members).
