Call Recording
Wave Line offers the ability to record incoming and outgoing calls on specific business lines for quality assurance, training, or record-keeping purposes.
Enabling Call Recording:
- Call recording is not enabled globally by default.
- It must be turned on within the settings for each specific Inbox where you want calls recorded.
- To enable it, navigate to Settings > Inboxes, select the desired inbox, and toggle the Call Recording option ON. (Refer to Inbox Configuration).
Important Considerations:
- Legality: Be aware of call recording laws in your jurisdiction and the locations of the parties on the call. Many regions require consent from one or all parties before recording. Ensure you have appropriate notifications or consent mechanisms in place if required.
- Access: Recorded calls are typically stored within the call log of the corresponding inbox and accessible to users with appropriate permissions. (Note: Specify storage duration or access details if known).
